Novak says he won't be able to go to New York for the US Open.
He was deported from the country because of his Covid-19 vaccine status, so he didn't defend his Australian Open title.
Non-vaccinated visitors have been banned by the US.
"Unfortunately, I will not be able to travel to NY this time for the US Open," wrote the Serb on his verified account.
The 35-year-old won his 21st major title with victory at Wimbledon in July but will miss out on another chance to add to his tally
"I will keep in good shape and positive spirit and wait for the chance to compete again."

In a social media post on 30 July, he wrote "I am preparing as if I will be allowed to compete", after he was listed on the US Open entry list.
