International travelers arriving in Japan will not need to show proof of a negative pre-departure COVID-19 test, according to the Prime Minister of Japan.

The Prime Minister of Japan said that the country would keep its daily caps on arrivals in place despite the fact that vaccinations would no longer be required.

The island nation will eventually raise the daily cap on inbound travelers from 20,000 to 50,000 according to local reports. The Japanese government reopened to tourists in June of this year.

The measures will continue to be relaxed gradually. Based on the situation with infections, we hope to announce something soon.

More airlines are returning as the country reopens. On October 30th, Delta will resume service between Los Angeles International Airport and Haneda International Airport in Tokyo.

The only club in the facility operated by an airline from the US is the Delta Sky Club.
