The former warden of a California women's prison has been charged with sexually abusing two other female prisoners.

The Federal Correctional Institute in Dublin, California had a warden named RayGarcia. An Associated Press investigation revealed a culture of abuse and cover-ups that had persisted for years at the prison, a women's only facility.

There are seven counts of sexually abusive conduct involving three female victims who were serving prison sentences at the federal prison in Dublin, California, as well as one count of making false statements to government agents.

The former warden is accused of molesting an inmates while trying to push him away. When the FBI raided his office and home last summer, they found pictures on his computer and cell phone that were taken while he was naked. The Justice Department said that the abuse happened on multiple occasions from December to March and ended when women were locked in their cells due to the Pandemic.

According to court records, he told the FBI that he had already looked if they were undressing. I don't schedule a time for you to be undressed and I'll be there.

One of his victims was told that he could not be fired and that he was close to the person who was investigating staff malfeasance.

The lawyer for the man denied an interview with the AP after he pleaded not guilty to the charges. On Tuesday, a message was left with the lawyer for the man.

According to the new indictment, between March 2020 and July 2021. According to the Justice Departments, he touched the three women in a sexual manner and asked multiple inmates to undress for him.

He is accused of sexually abusing one of the women in a prison bathroom next to a prison warehouse. The women were forced to touch his genitals in the laundry room and he grabbed one of them in the electrical shop, according to prosecutors.

The indictment states that he lied to federal agents about asking inmates to undress for him or touching a female prisoner.

Dublin workers have been accused of sexually abusing inmates. A food service foreman is one of the others. Two of the workers have been sentenced. Next week, one will be sentenced.
