Bill in New York State Senate would require new cars to have speed-limiting tech

New York State Senator Brad Hoylman has proposed legislation that would limit tech to new cars. The passenger vehicles that are built after January 1st, 2024 will need to have advanced safety technology. There were 270 traffic-related deaths in New York City in 2021, up from 243 the year before.
