It is an annual tradition in the tech world to look to Mark Gurman for trustworthy iPhone leaks. The biggest change this year is a shakeup of Apple's phone sizes, and Gurman has a guide for what to expect.
The expectation is that Apple will release four new phones this year, the same as last year, but without the mini model we loved. There will be two 6.1-inch and two 6.7-inch models, one of each for the regular and Pro lines.
The phone has a 6.1-inch screen.
The phone has a 6.1 inch screen.
The phone has a max screen size of 6.7 inches.

There is a possibility that there could be an Apple device with a giant screen and no Pro-level price point. Are you excited?
The hole-punch front-facing camera will be the new feature in the iPhone 14 Pro models. According to Gurman, the new pill-shaped cutout in the Pro models will house the Face ID sensor.

If the 14 Max exists, why would anyone buy a 14 Pro? Well, according to Gurman and Kuo, that's because the iPhone 14 Pro will come with a 48-megapixel main rear lens, a large upgrade over the 12-megapixel lens included on the iPhone 14. The non-Pro iPhone 14 models will be powered by last year's A15, while the Pro model will have Apple's new A16 chip on the inside. The more expensive models will have the normal Pro upgrade like a telephoto lens and upgraded battery.

Gurman says to expect the same design as in the iPhone 13 There is a new notch replacement for the Pro phones, but it may not be enough for a more substantial redesign.
We don't know how much the phones will cost until Apple gives us a price.

Gurman is a reliable source when it comes to the Apple Watch Series 8. The three new versions of the Apple Watch that Gurman believes will be shown at the event are in the July edition of his "Power On" newsletter.
We could see a default Apple Watch Series 8 in 41mm and 45mm sizes with a new S8 chip and a body temperature sensor to add even more health tracking functions. According to Gurman, it will cost around $400.

There is a chance that there will be a new Apple Watch at that price point. The new S8 chip will probably be included in the SE, but it won't include the body temperature sensor.
For all intents and purposes, we can call the Apple Watch "pro" for now. This one is for people who want a durable watch that can handle more health metrics, so it has a bigger display and titanium case. Tracking for hikes and swims were improved in the newsletter.
It sounds great. That's until we get to pricing. Gurman said it could start for as much as a thousand dollars. For a timepiece. People who spend that much should get what they paid for.
Given that Apple has recently taken to doing a later fall event for iPad and Macs, most rumors point to this being all about the Apple Watch.
