On September 19th, you will no longer be able to get Saturday Night Live and Law & Order on the streaming service. As part of the streaming service's plan to consolidate NBC- branded content on its home platform, NBC will premiere new shows on Peacock next day.

In March, Peacock ended its content sharing deal with Hulu in order to get more of its own content. One Chicago, The Tonight Show, Late Night, and The Voice are included.

The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills, Below Deck, Top Chef, and Southern Charm are just some of the shows that are available on the platform. NBC has made one of its longest-running shows, a Peacock exclusive, but it has had trouble getting people to stay on the service for more than just the Olympics, the NFL, and The Office.

Peacock’s subscriber count stayed flat at 13 million this past quarter

NBC signed a deal with Universal Pictures to give the studio's films on Peacock 45 days after they are released in theaters. The rights to the John Wick franchise are owned by Peacock and a John Wick prequel will be released in 3 years.

On top of that, it has secured two versions of the movie, the original one and an extended one, which will be exclusively available starting September 2nd, and it will stream the movie the same day it is released in theaters.

In July, NBC's parent company reported that Peacock's subscriber count remained flat at 13 million despite having what it says was "extraordinary programming" during the quarter. Since the end of the year, Peacock has added 4 million subscribers.

Kelly Campbell is optimistic about the future of the service despite a lack of growth in the previous quarter. Campbell told Deadline that they are feeling good about the trends they are seeing. Special subscription offers will be put in the market to help ease the transition for consumers when we bring our content to Peacock.

There is a disclosure regarding the investor in the company.
