David Moyes has confirmed that West ham made an offer for Lucas Paqueta.
The Hammers are reported to have made an offer of about £34m for the 24-year-old.
Paqueta had nine goals and six assists in 35 appearances in the French league.
He can play as a number 10, an eight, and a false 9 for Brazil. I think he's got a good track record.
"Pedigree doesn't always work, but you would hope that it helps him get better."

In last season's Europa League quarter-finals, Paqueta played for Lyon against West ham, and the Hammers won 4-1 on aggregate.
Since joining Lyon two years ago, he has scored 21 times and provided 14 assists.
West Ham are the only team in the league that hasn't scored a goal after three games.
A deal is believed to be worth more than 15 million dollars, and it was signed on Tuesday. The club has signed seven people this summer.
If people knew which other players West Ham had made bids for, they would be amused.
