Invitations have just been sent out for Apple's next event. On September 7th, the company will reveal what it has been working on for the past year, with a live broadcast from Apple Park. The words are on the invite. Don't make of that what you will.

Four new iPhone models are expected to be announced. A 6.1-inch iPhone 14 Pro, a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Max, a 6.1-inch iPhone 14 and a 6.7-inch iPhone 14 Pro are all rumored to be part of the new lineup. Apple won't offer a mini model this year due to lackluster sales of the 12 mini and 13 mini

Enhancements on the standard iPhone 14 models include the addition of more memory, longer- lasting batteries, and a better selfie camera. The Pro models are expected to feature a new design that swaps out Apple's signature display notch for a hole punched front camera cutout. According to reports, the Pro variant will have a new main camera and thinner displays. They are expected to be the only models with the new A16 chip.

Apple is expected to refresh its entire line of Wearables. According to reports from Mark Gurman, the Apple Watch Series 8 will include a larger screen than its siblings and a titanium case, as well as a new "pro" model. It is expected to have a bigger battery that could allow for multiple days of use. A body temperature sensor is expected to be included in the Series 8 lineup. The current set of AirPods Pro are almost three years old, so a new set is likely a safe bet.

The Mac computers will not be announced on September 7th. The company is expected to hold another event later this year. During and after the event, you can expect a lot of coverage from Engadget.
