Musk chastised the driver for pointing out the issue with the Full Self-Driving software.

The CEO told James Locke to stop complaining after Locke posted videos on social media showing instances where FSD struggled with right turns and lane changes.

Musk said that 10.69 is in limited release for a reason. Please don't complain if you're not included in early alpha releases.

The price of the optional FSD feature is going to be $15,000 in North America. The software can be purchased for a monthly fee. Locke said on the social networking site that he has spent over $32,000 on the feature and now pays $199 per month.

Locke didn't reply to a request for comment. Locke acknowledged that his feedback is probably not a popular opinion and said the software still has a lot of work to do.

The system is not completely self-sufficient. While the system does not replace a licensed driver, it does tell drivers to keep their hands on the wheel and be prepared to take over. The add-on makes it possible forTeslas to change lanes, enter and exit highways, recognize stop signs, and park. Over 100,000 subscribers to the software can be used to test the software in real time and allow the system to learn from experience drivers.

Locke apologized immediately after Musk scolded him for being critical of the software. The driver of the electric car has a channel on the video sharing website.

Musk has said in the past that he would welcome criticism of the software. Locke's comments came after a number of criticisms. An ad campaign was started by a California tech CEO that showed a car crashing into a mannequin. The video caused a lot of backlash.

The California Department of Motor Vehicles accused Musk's company of misleading drivers. The US National Highway Traffic Safety Administration is looking into whether the Autopilot system was involved in crashes.

Non-disclosure agreements were required by the company until last autumn. Musk said that people don't seem to listen to him because they share a lot of videos about the tech.
