A range of new devices, not just a new iPhone, will be on display at Apple's upcoming launch event. We are looking for three new Apple Watch models and a refreshed pair of earbuds.

Apple is expected to hold a small in-person event at its Apple Park campus and stream the show online, similar to what it did with the World Wide Developers Conference in June. The event is expected to take place on September 7th, 2022.

The iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max get some major upgrades

The new iPhones will be revealed in September, but the standard model won't be the center of attention. The new and exciting features of the iPhone 14 Pro and Pro Max are expected to be the majority of the feature set.

There are three big features expected in the 14 Pro and Pro Max, including an always-on display, a bigger rear camera, and a screen that gets rid of the notch. An upgraded A16 chip should be included in the phone. A rumored price hike may be justified by an impressive list of features.

The standard version of the iPhone 14 won't have a lot of changes. A larger 6.7-inch display option is expected to be added to the non-pro model. According to previous rumors, the Pro and Pro Max may have a better selfie camera with a better focus. The A15 processor used in the iPhone 13 series is likely to be used in the base version of the phone.

I am sorry to say that a new Mini won't be coming this year.

Only two Pro models would upgrade to the A16 processor, while the 14 & 14 Max will remain the A15. All four new models will likely come with 6GB RAM, with the difference being LPDDR 5 (14 Pro & 14 Pro Max) vs. LPDDR 4X (14 & 14 Max). https://t.co/tHcszIz6gX

New Apple Watch models: Series 8, SE, and “Pro”

The Apple Watch Series 8; a refreshed SE; and a new rugged model designed for athletes who partake in extreme sports will be released by Apple.

The Series 8 is the first one. Mark Gurman reported that the next-gen watch won't have a noticeable performance upgrade over the S7 and S6 chips. While Apple isn't expected to include a way to monitor your blood pressure just yet, it may come with a temperature sensor that will detect if you have afever

The budget watch series 3 is expected to be replaced by the new Apple watch. The 2020 SE model uses the same S5 chip as the S8 chip, so it will likely come with the same one. It is expected to retain the same display size as the current SE.

Gurman believes that the Apple Watch Pro could come with a larger display that is more shatter- resistant. It might have a metal case instead of a rubber one. Gurman doesn't think this watch will be cheap, he thinks it will cost between $900 and $999.

The next generation of the AirPods Pro

The first update for the AirPods Pro was in 2019. Three years have passed since the release of the AirPods Pro 2.

They will look different first off. There is a chance that the new AirPods Pro may have an in- ear wing tip design. The potential for upgraded motion sensors could lead to a focus on fitness tracking.

There is a chance that the AirPods Pro could support high-quality sound. The first model to use the Apple Lossless Audio Codec is the AirPods Pro 2. It will be interesting to see if the Apple Lossless Audio Codec is supported by the AirPods Pro 2.

The charging case for the AirPods may be upgraded. When you try to locate it using the Find My app, it might come with a small speaker. If your AirPods ever get separated from you, adding the ability to the case could be useful.

We may get iOS 16 and watchOS 9 launch dates

We have a good idea of what to expect based on what we have seen so far in the public version of the operating system. According to Gurman, the final version of Apple's mobile operating system is likely to be released within a week of the event.

There are a number of new features in the new edition of the operating system. The Live Activities lock screen widget provides updates on real-time events, such as sports scores or food delivery progress, as well as repositioned notifications at the bottom of your lock screen. It's not in the way you would expect.

watchOS 9 could also be launched with the three new watches. The watchOS 9 beta has been out for a couple of months now, and it will bring a lot of improvements to the Apple Watch. New running metrics, medication reminders, sleep stage tracking, and enhanced watch face customization are included.

Is that all?

We shouldn't have to wait long for another round of new Apple products, as it looks like this is it for this particular event. In September, Apple is expected to hold an event to show off its new products, including the iPad and Macs.

There will be a new iPad Pro with the M2 chip and an entry-level iPad with the A14 chip at that time. Three new Macs are rumored to include a Mac Mini, Mac Pro, and MacBook Pro, all with Apple's M2 chip.

It would be a longshot for Apple to show off its mixed reality headset this year. It looks like Apple is moving in the right direction. The device was supposed to be tested by the board of directors earlier this year, but it won't be launched until January of next year.
