In the wake of a whistle blower complaint by Peiter "Mudge" Zatko, a new team is being put in place.

The "health experience" team will be merged with the "service" team to combat toxic content.

An internal memo shows that the team will be called health products and services. According to the memo, it will be led by the vice president of product for health andTwitter service.

One of Zatko's complaints accused the company of under-resourcing teams tasked with taking downspam accounts, saying they were "over worked, inefficient, understaffed, and reactive."

Zatko accused executives at the company of not being incentivized to measure the effectiveness of their service and of being ignorant about their existence.

"Stopping bad actors, creating more transparency around how we support a healthy platform, while also helping promote and encourage diverse thoughts and conversations, continues to be a cornerstone to everything we do and how we organize our teams," said a spokesman for the company.

In July, Musk said he was going to abandon the deal because he didn't think the company had been transparent about the number of bot accounts. The lawsuit was filed to force Musk to complete his purchase.

Insider was told by legal experts that Zatko's accusations are unlikely to be a silver bullet for Musk in his battle against the company.

"What we've seen so far is a false narrative aboutTwitter and our privacy and data security practices that is riddled with inconsistencies and inaccuracies and lacks important context," a spokesman for the company said after Zatko's complaints were published.

They said that Mr. Zatko's allegations and timing appeared to be designed to hurt the company.
