Several users had their timelines broken on Wednesday morning.
Multiple users took to social platforms to show their feeds were filled with posts made by people not on their friends list that targeted celebrity accounts like Robert Downing Jr, Tom Cruise and many others.
Most of the posts that appeared on the timelines appeared to be from fans of the same celebrities.
Forbes was unable to replicate the issue on both the desktop and mobile versions of the website at the time of publishing, but it is unclear if the issue has resolved itself.
There was a surge in complaints about Facebook on Wednesday, but those seem to have subsided.
In a statement shared with Forbes, Facebook's parent company Meta said it was aware that some people were having trouble with their Facebook Feed.
