Facebook is broken and spamming celebrity comments everywhere

There is a bug that is filling user feeds with posts from celebrities. The main News Feed of the website was flooded with posts for artists like Lady Gaga and The Beatles this morning.

Users have been quick to take advantage of the bug and are now sending meme to celebrities that they know will be seen by a lot of people. A picture of a turkey sandwich with the caption "If you see this share it to another celebrities Facebook page keep the turkey sandwich moving" is one widely shared image. Everyone that follows a celebrity will see the picture.

Reports of issues at the social media network are spiking, but as far as we can tell, they are just buggy behavior. As of this writing, there are no issues reported on the status dashboard. The representative from Meta didn't reply immediately.
