Variety says that another six animated projects have been axed. Batman: Caped Crusader is a series produced by J.J.Abrams. Timm's classic '90s series is a spiritual successor to the new show.

In contrast to some of the other shows and movies that have been canned recently, production is continuing on these projects. The production teams will look for a new place to live. Merry Little Batman, The Day the Earth Blew Up, Bye Bye Bunny, Did I Do That to the Holidays, and The Amazing World of Gumball: The Movie are all canceled.

Kids and family content are not being prioritized by the network. Dozens of shows were pulled last week. Hundreds of Sesame Street episodes were removed in order to save on licensing fees.

One of the directors of Batgirl's movie tried to get some footage from the movie on his phone, but he couldn't get it to work. Several employees from the family programming division were laid off.

The parent company of Warner Bros. Discovery is merging the service with Discovery+. "As we work toward bringing our content catalogs together under one platform, we will be making changes to the content offering available on both of our platforms."

Warner Bros. Discovery, which formed after the merger of WarnerMedia and Discovery earlier this year, made the decision to cancel and remove content. The company's stock price has fallen 25% since August 4th due to the company's attempts to make $3 billion in cuts. Over the last month, the company's valuation has plummeted. Warner Bros Discovery wanted to save $3 billion by deleting series, movies, killing payments to animation workers’ health funds, firing a lot of women and minorities and their reward has been losing $5.5 billion market cap in a month & alienating top talent. Great job. pic.twitter.com/QuocGhW3N6
