The range of Aero Furniture is a collection of tables with an air purifier, mood lighting, and wireless charging for your gadgets shoved inside.
The Aero Furniture design of the PuriCare Objet Collection features a rounded tower base and a wireless charging pad for compatible gadgets. Fast charging is available for the Apple iPhone, but the actual wattage was not given.
“360-degree air purification and user-friendly features”
The range isn't advertised as a table. The Aero Furniture is a useful place for storing household items or displaying decorative objects. The name "Puri Care Objet Collection Aero Furniture" suggests that other household furnishings could appear within the range, so perhaps an air purifying bookcase or credenza is in the works.
There are three different color options, rose, yellow and gray. It is unclear if there will be an option to mix and match the bases in the future, but if you are into bright, pop art-inspired furniture, this is a great piece.
There will be limited edition models and exclusive table-top decorations designed by well-known artists, such as popular South Korean painter, Kim Sun-woo, according to the company.
There are buttons on the underside of the table that allow you to control the air flow, mood lighting, and power the device on and off. There are indicators near the edge of the surface that show things like air quality and upgrade status. The Aero Furniture is compatible with the Thin Q app, which is used to control a wide array of home appliances.
This isn't the only air-purifying furniture on the market. The Starkvind table from Ikea can purify the air in a space of up to 20 square meters, but it lacks the built-in charging and mood lighting that Objet Aero Furniture offers.
“LG’s unique air purifier is designed with sustainability in mind”
The product is made from recycled plastic and shipped in packaging made from recycled materials.
There are no product dimensions to reference if you want to see how it would fit into a space within your home. The range of the device's air purification or what kind of filters are used beyond proprietary terms aren't mentioned by the company.
The brand considers this release a follow-up to the Aero Furniture range, which uses True HEPA filters. More independent testing is needed to see if the claims of the UVnano technology are true.
We don't have a release date or pricing for the Aero Furniture collection yet, but the product will be on display at the Berlin fair between September 2nd and 6th, where we hope to get more information.
