Over the past two years, players have gained control of the Darkness, fought Savathn and her undead army, and witnessed the expansion's launch. There is a witness. On February 28th, it will be time to shake things up again with the launch of Destiny 2: Lightfall, with a new cyberpunk world, new Strand subclasses, and more.

The final battle of the epic light vs. dark saga of Destiny is taking place.

The new location for the franchise is heavily cyberpunk and it is at the center of the second game. There is a new hidden Neomuna city on Neptune that serves as a futuristic setting for the continuation of the storyline. Calus is on the side of the Witness in the fight to destroy the Traveler.

The capital city of Neptune, Neomuna, has bright neon lights that look like an Aurora borealis. It is a secret technologically advanced city, and it is unlike anything else in the universe. There are new Cloud Striders that protect Neomuna and the Shadow Legion Cabal that can attack from a long way away.

A new subclass called Lightfall is being introduced. We have never seen a subclass like this before in the game. If you thought Stasis was powerful, you should check out the abilities that are more focused on movement and assistance.

A grapple hook is the big new addition in the game. You can use the hook to grapple whatever you want. It was expanded to all three classes so that every guardian could wield the grapple hook.

The grapple hook is only one of the damage abilities of the game. Warlocks have a blade-like super ability and can use a rope that you can weave and whip with.

New and old players will be able to play in the second game of the series more easily. There is a new system that players can use to identify experienced players in the game. A built-in looking for group system will be added to the system in 2023. There is a new system where players can show their appreciation for one another.

There are improvements to the quality of life. Destiny 2 players have had to use third-party tools like DIM for a long time, so something inside the game will be very welcome.

There is a new season of the game starting today. The return of the Fallen Eramis villain is one of the highlights of the season of plunder. There is a new Ketchcrash mode where you board pirate ships and hunt down pirate leaders.

Arc 3.0 is the final rework for class abilities and is introduced in the season of plunder. The thunderclap charged melee attack has big damage and the hunters get blink again. Warlocks get two new attacks.

The King's Fall raid was part of The Taken King expansion. It is a big season as we move closer to the release of Destiny 2: Lightfall, as well as the fall and winter games, and a new game on the store.

On February 28th, Destiny 2: Lightfall will be available on multiple platforms.
