Some of the phones that Visible works with are unlocked. If your phone is compatible, you can check your phone's IMEI on the website.

When Visible was launched, it had no support for 3G and only worked with voice calls. Most phones from the past couple of years should support these features.

It is advisable to check your phone before you sign up for Visible. If your phone won't work on its network, Visible will have you check your phone's IMEI list against its database. If you're happy, you can order a sim card for your phone.

If your phone isn't approved by Visible, you can either buy a new one or swap it for another. You can get a free phone when you sign up with a carrier. The phones are low-end devices. If you're ready for a new phone, this is a great deal, but if you're not, you could end up with a less performant phone.

In our review, we had no issues with the unlocked S20+. An unlocked AT&TLG V60 isn't approved and neither is an international Zenfone 8. Your mileage may be different even with a modern phone.

You can still get a unlocked phone. Many of these are supported by Visible, like the S22 series and the S6 series. If you're thinking about buying a less common product, it may be worth contacting the support team.

If you want to take advantage of any unlocked offer, it's a good idea to double-check the device you bring with you.

You can buy a phone from Visible if you want a sure thing. You can purchase a new phone when you sign up for Visible. It's simpler if you include a sim card and know it will work. There's a wide range of phones.
