House of the Dragon, the Game ofThrones spinoff, only aired on Sunday night, but Amazon Studios decided not to make a big deal out of it. There is a new trailer for The Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power, and it looks like Middle-earth will make the show look like it's from Game of Throne.
The Rings of Power is set thousands of years before the events of Lord of the Rings and is based on J.R.R. Tolkien's Silmarillion. The rise of Sauron is chronicled in the show, as well as the creation of the rings that will ruin the fantasy world. In the new trailer, you can see that Galadriel takes up the sword for herself when the elvish people don't listen to her.
Much has been made of the $500,000,000 budget for the series, but it actually looks like a lot of money was spent on the show. The show is beautiful
On September 2nd, Prime Video will show Lord of the Rings: The Rings of Power.
