Terrifying ghosts or new Björk? What Nasa’s black hole recording sounds like

The sound came from the Chandra X-ray Observatory.

The agency described it as a result of pressure waves sent out by the black hole, which meant scientists had to raise the frequencies multiple times to make it sound good.

The ripples in the cluster's hot gas that could be translated into a note are one that humans cannot hear.
