There is a release window for the PS4 virtual reality headset.

The first picture of the hardware and controllers that will be used in the virtual reality headset was posted on the social networking site by the French company. The image was shared with a caption that said it would come early in the future. It is safe to assume that this isn't a one-off. We now have a specific release window for PSV2, but no specific date was given.

We don't know what the price of the game will be, or if the game will be backwards compatible. Sony still has a lot of questions to answer before it launches. At the time of its release, the virtual reality headset will have over 20 games, including Resident Evil Village, Resident Evil 4 ReMake, and Horizon Call of the Mountain, among others.

There are two game modes for the headset, one for non-VR and one for virtual reality. The latter provides a panoramic view at a resolution of 400 x 2040. The latter runs at 24 and 60 frames per second. The Sense controllers will have the same adaptive Trigger and Haptic feedback as the PS 5 console's dualsense controllers, as well as full finger touch detection.

Sony made an announcement in a low-key way.
