A logo featuring Bolt's signature victory celebration pose has been registered.

The retired Jamaican sprinter applied in the US.

After winning gold medals and setting world records, he tends to strike the pose after leaning back and gesturing to the sky.

The world records for the 100m and 200m are held by Mr Bolt.

Mr Bolt applied for a trademark in the US on 17 August.

There is a silhouette of a man in a distinctive pose, with one arm bent and pointing to the head, and the other arm raising and pointing upward.

He plans to use the image on clothing, jewellery and shoes, as well as restaurants and sports bars, according to the filing.

The filing, made on August 17th, indicates that @usainbolt plans to use the logo in connection with:
