During the Little League Classic game on Sunday, there was an incident that took place.
As cameras cut to some of the players from the Iowa team in attendance, they were stuffing their teammate's head. Little League addressed the matter after many people on social media reacted negatively to the footage.

A Midwest player was shown filling a stuffed animal on his head during the broadcast of the Little League Classic. Multiple players on the Midwest Region team were enjoying the game after speaking with the team. Little League International understands that the actions shown could be seen as racist. The mother and the coaches of the player assured us that there was no intent behind the action shown during the broadcast.

The Midwest Region team defeated the Northwest Region and the Mountain Region representatives in its last two games after falling to the Great Lakes Region representative.
