She celebrated in a very special way.
The 29-year-old ran towards the six-yard box to celebrate her goal after launching a rocket into the top right corner of the net. She started hopping up and down, grabbing at her right leg and making a loud noise.
One TV commentator was about to say something.
As Kansas City fans began to worry, LaBonta allayed their fears by stopping near the end line, resting her hands above her knees, and twinning with a smile on her face.

LaBonta told reporters that someone suggested the goal celebration idea on the social networking site. She thought it would be fun to change things up.
LaBonta said in the post-game press conference that female soccer players tend to just all go to each other on celebrations. We want to make it more fun and have individual celebrations.
She said she bet that it was sent to her on the social networking site.
LaBonta leads the league in assists with four. With five goals to boot, she's been instrumental to the Current's impressive 7-4-5 record, which puts them just two points behind the first-place Portland Thorns, with just five games left in the regular.
