Even after Dr. Fauci leaves his post in the federal government, congressional Republicans will continue to investigate his conduct as the nation's top infectious disease expert.

Dr. Fauci lost the trust of the American people when he kept schools closed and businesses closed while obscuring questions about his knowledge of the origins of COVID. Kevin McCarthy said that the House would hold him accountable.

Fauci will be stepping down from his roles as chief medical adviser to President Biden and director of the National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases. The doctor worked in the government for over 50 years. He said that he will pursue the next chapter of his career, even though he won't be retiring.

Fauci was accused of deceiving the American people about the risks of the Covid-19 virus.

He discouraged cloth mask use early on and urged mask-wearing in most indoor settings for over two years.

Fauci was an advocate of school closings and masks for children, even though there was a vaccine that could be used.

Fausto's resignation won't stop a full-throated investigation into the origins of the Pandemic. He will be asked to testify about any discussions he had about the lab leak.

Fauci was grilled by Paul on his attempts to squash scientific dissent on the theory that the virus came from a lab accident in China. After dismissing the lab-leak theory as a conspiracy, many mainstream outlets now accept it. Fauci dodged questions about whether the National Institutes of Health funded bat research before Congress.

The ranking member of the House Oversight and Reform Committee said that retirement can't protect Dr. Fauci from congressional oversight.

In January, a GOP congress should hold Fauci fully accountable for his dishonesty, corruption, abuse of power, and multiple lies under oath.

Fauci stepped down in the summer in order to avoid being the subject of a GOP probe after the fall elections when the party is projected to regain a governing majority in the House.

The resignation of Dr. Fauci in December will allow House Republicans to hold him accountable for ruining our country over the past three years. The guy is a Coward.
