The winter of 2022-23 will see an increase in the number of flights from the UK to the Caribbean.
The number of flights will be increased from seven to eight.
There will be over 50,000 seats for the season.
In June, Tui operated more than 99% of the flights.
For the first time, Marella Cruises will homeport Marella Explorer 2 and Marella Discovery in Barbados and add a month to the previous season, which ended in March.
Customers who stay on the island before or after a cruise will be helped by the increased number of partner hotels.
The minister said that they were pleased with the news that the programme would be increased for the winter season.
The sheer size of the expansion, from the additional flight capacity and extended schedule to the homeporting of two of their largest cruise ships and new hotel partners, underpins the confidence in Barbados.
Cheryl Carter, director of UK & Ireland for Barbados Tourism Marketing, said, "We are thrilled that this relationship which began in 2011 continues to flourish, and we hope to continue to build on this by developing further opportunities in the future"
We are looking forward to even more UK and Irish tourists coming to our island.
