The Disney Plus streaming service will be getting a new movie in September, which is called THOR: LOVE AND THUD. The movie did well at the box office despite Charles Pulliam-Moore describing it as "messy" in his review. It will soon be available on streaming for people who prefer to watch it at home.
On September 8th, Disney will add more than one movie to the service, which is called Disney Plus day. Several shorts, behind-the-scenes features, and TV episodes are coming soon. Tom Hanks and Joseph Gordon-Levitt are in a live-action adaptation of the children's book, which is directed by Robert Zemeckis.
Disney ran a number of promotions last year as part of Disney Plus Day. One of my former colleagues said that the faux holiday will be followed by Disney's D23 expo. There, Disney will likely be showing off new information about its theme parks and upcoming projects.
