The last time Lamar Jackson was on a practice field, he barely moved. Jackson hobbled from drill to drill, favoring his injured ankle.
Jackson showed up to training camp looking stronger than before. He bulked up to more than 200 pounds, which is 18 pounds heavier than his listed weight.

Jackson missed games for the first time in his career because of injury after he escaped the pocket and made a pass.
Jackson has become one of the league's top players with his ability to break long runs and extend pass plays by eluding defenders. Jackson has been hit more than any other quarterback over that time.
Jackson thinks his dual-threat style of play is sustainable. The defenders are juked out. He has missed a lot of practices because of an injury. The circumstances of the play back up Jackson's point, as he comes off his most significant injury in the NFL. Jackson is willing to play out his fifth-year option and not sign an extension because he is so confident he won't suffer another serious injury.
How did the injury happen? Jackson was trying to pass in the pocket. I have been playing well. I got hurt when I tried to get out of the pocket. I think it says something for itself.
It took Jackson 35 games to reach 5,000 yards passing and 2,000 yards rushing, which was the shortest time span needed to accomplish the feat. He had seven games of at least 200 yards passing and 50 yards rushing last season.
Jackson has tried over 500 rushing attempts. In his first four years, no other quarterback has ran the ball more than 500 times.
The number of Jackson's designed runs has been reduced in each of the past three seasons.
Roman believes that Lamar is one of the best athletes in the history of mankind. To not tap into that would be foolish.
The worst hits can happen when Jackson is in the pocket. His eyes are focused on the field, which makes it more likely that he will get a shot.
Jackson doesn't get driven into the ground when he bolts out of the pocket. He is more in charge of himself.
Roman said that he was a magician when it came to contorting his body.
Harbaugh offered his opinion.
Harbaugh said that a quarterback can get hit in the pocket but he has a knack. I think he's good at it and he doesn't get hit a lot.
He's going to have to manage and play the long game now that it's football. I trust him with that, though.
Jackson has 3,673 yards rushing, which is 7th all time. Only one other quarterback had more than four straight seasons of 100 or more carries.
Patrick Ricard said that he thinks Lamar is in a different category than running quarterbacks. I feel like a typical quarterback has good linear speed. Lamar is able to move in many different directions.
