John Lundstram: Rangers appeal against red card in Hibernian draw

There was a red card shown to John Lundstram in the Rangers and Hibs game.

The 28-year-old was shown a red card for catching Martin Boyle on the ankle.

The call was described as "harsh" by the Rangers boss.

The fast-track hearing hasn't been fixed.

Josh Campbell crashed in to give Rangers a 2-2 draw at the end of the game after Rangers were up by two.

It was going to be hard after the two red cards.

It's a tackle I've seen in the first half and it's even worse. The game is a physical one.

"If the referee wanted to have a physical game and set the standards like that, he shouldn't have given the red card because of the challenges we had to overcome in the first half."

There was no intention to hurt him. The tackle was a foul to avoid a transition moment. It could have been red.
