After decades of searching, the American version of Sailor Moon has been found. The pilot episode of the unaired, never-finished series that the Sailor Moon fans have come to know as "Siber Moon" has been discovered by RayMona.

Two years before the debut of the dubbed Sailor Moon, the story of the Americanized Sailor Moon begins. The producers of the original Power Rangers collaborated with an animation studio to make an English version of the show. A project that blended live-action with animation never took off. The project was shown in a music video in the 90s.

We have the entire first episode. Over the course of several months, RayMona details her journey to uncover Saban Moon. With the help of Kotaku reporter Cecilia D'Anastasio, she was able to get a copy of the footage from The Library of Congress that she used in her video.

It is amazing to finally see the series that never came to fruition after the pilot starts at 1:45: 48. Each Sailor Scout and Luna will be played by a real-life actress in the live-action portion of the episode. There is an animated version of Sailor Moon's characters that is very similar to a Disney movie.

It was worth the wait because it was completely different from the series.
