According to The Guardian, Andrew Tate has been banned from all Meta platforms. Tate had over 4 million followers on the photo sharing site.
The former kickboxer is no longer featured on any of the big social media platforms. He was banned from social media after saying women should bear responsibility for sexual assaults. Tate was banned for violating its policies.
Tate's videos, which are cartoonishly misogynistic, got a lot of attention this summer due to their controversial nature. Tate's questionable source of income appears to involve inducing customers at his "Hustler's University" business to create social media accounts, clipping short snippets from Tate's show, and distributing them to as many people as possible.
Tate's various fan accounts on TikTok have hundreds of thousands of followers despite the fact that his official account has been banned. There are more than 13 billion views on the #andrewtate. Tiktok has been removing violative videos and accounts for weeks and welcomes the news that other platforms are taking action against this individual.
Tate told The Guardian that most of his videos are parody and that "Internet sensationalism has purported the idea that I'm anti- women when nothing could be further from the truth." Tate talked about the claims with Adin Ross. The false narrative about him was created by people who dislike him.
"What they've done is find all the little clips across six years of content, a total of three or four minutes, and are trying to make it look like I'm out there trying to hate on women when I'm the one out here donating to women trying to prove It's a lie. Tate has been upfront about the many controversial statements that he claims are being used to create a false narrative.
Hope Not Hate said that Tate is a misogynist and called for more social media companies to remove him from their platforms. Mr. Tate is a threat to young men because he radicalizes them towards sexism, racism and homophobia.
