The two-month tumble in US gas prices shows no sign of slowing as fall approaches, which typically brings a seasonal drop in demand that experts say could push the national average below $3.50 a gallon.
Arkansas has the lowest average price for a gallon of regular gasoline in the country at $3.42, followed by Mississippi, Georgia and Texas, which all have an average price of $3.44.
Other sub-$3.50 clubs include Tennessee, Louisiana, South Carolina, Missouri, Alabama, and Kansas.
