A recent video shows us a hands-on look at the prototypes of the upcoming devices.
There are a lot of rumors about the new phones. Unbox Therapy gave us a hands-on experience with the new devices and compared them to the current flagship models of the company.
The phones could not be turned on. There are some things that can be gleaned from the devices. In the video there is a comparison between the Pixel 7 Pro and the Pixel 7. Both devices will be powered by the same chip.
The front-facing hole-punch camera on the 7 Pro appears to be a tad smaller than the basePixel 7. We've heard that there may be new selfies that support face unlock. The prototype model of the Pixel 7 Pro appears to have a slightly smaller footprint than the flagship model.
There were some noticeable differences in the new models when compared to the previous ones. There was a height difference between the new phone and the previous one. In the test, the 7 Pro is smaller and wider than the 6 Pro. Unbox Therapy couldn't nail it down because of how curved the sides are on the Pixel 6 Pro, which could make it look like it's smaller.
The 7 Pro's prototype was thinner than the 6 Pro. When it came to the base version of the phone, it's a bit smaller than the previous one.
The Sony IMX381 sensor for the ultrawide lens could be retained in the new phones, according to earlier camera leaks.
The new phones may have different display panels, which could make them brighter than the current models.
There are slight differences between the smaller phones and the more pocketable devices. The heavier weight of the 7 Pro could mean a bigger battery, although battery life hasn't been an issue for the current models.
We won't have to wait long for the full reveal of the Pixel 7 because it's expected this fall.
