Redditor, fantasy football analyst speculate Brady’s absence due to ‘Masked Singer’ taping

Tom Brady should be eager to get training camp work in with his offensive line and receiving corps after retirement. It's wrong. He hasn't been present. I don't believe it's extra time with Gisele and the kids because he's up to something.

If Brady is missing this time because he is filming The Masked Singer on the same network that gave him a massive 10-year, $375 million broadcasting deal when he retires, what will happen? He needs to retire sometime. Yes, right? There is a theory being floated on the internet by a fantasy football analyst.

The mystery-singing competition is in the middle of production and will premiere in September. Several athletes have appeared on the show in the past including a pair of Brady's former teammates. Some athletes have sung for a national audience in costumes.

CANN0NFIRE joked to a friend that Brady was probably just off doing the masked singer when he saw the Adam Schefter report. The more I thought about it the more logical it was.

Brady is the biggest name in the league, and FOX has an interest in helping him. A 90-second version of Barry Manilow's "Copacabana" costs less than a full version. I don't think the Bucs would allow their most important player to be away for that long. How long is one flight to Los Angeles, one performance, and a return flight back to the states if Brady doesn't win the show?

I have watched every single one of the episodes. It would be crazy to see Brady in a costume. It makes sense, but I can't see it happening. He wouldn't be missing from camp for this long unless he's been hiding a drawl for a long time. There's no chance of that.
