In a rare admission from the tech giant, Apple urged customers to update their devices as soon as possible because of serious security flaws that could allow hackers to take complete control of devices.
The affected devices include the iPhone 6s and later models, all iPad Pro models, the iPad Air 2 and later, the iPad 5th generation and later, and the iPad mini 4 and later.
Users of affected software have been urged to update their software quickly in order to fix the flaw.
To download and install software on an Apple device, go into "Settings," tap "General," then "Software Update."
Go to "System Preferences", then "Software Update" and hit "Update Now" if you want to upgrade a Mac.
Apple did not say how many people had been affected by the vulnerabilities, but it was aware of reports that both had been exploited.
The vulnerabilities were found. Apple gave no details on how it came to know of the flaws or who made them. There have been no reports of the vulnerabilities being used against users. Apple does not discuss or confirm security issues until after an investigation has taken place and patches are available.
Zero-day vulnerabilities are those discovered before the producer, in this case Apple, and they're known as those discovered before the producer, in this case Apple, and they're known as those discovered before the producer, in this case Apple, and they're known as those discovered Both hackers and vendors will pay large sums of money to get a hold of flaws like this. The Israeli firm NSO Group has been accused of hacking high-profile journalists and world leaders, but they are often directed at high-profile individuals rather than the public at large.
There are two zero-day security fixes for Apple.
