The nickname "Splash Mountain" was given to Lopez by his enthusiasm for the Disney park ride with the same name.
Lopez decided to celebrate a significant life event earlier this week at a park in Florida. Lopez proposed to his girlfriend at Disney's Animal Kingdom.
It took 13 years for the proposal to take place in front of the Tree of Life.
The Larry O'Brien trophy was given to each player after the Milwaukee Bucks won the NBA Championship. It only made sense that Lopez would celebrate at one of his favorite places after taking the trophy to Splash Mountain.
The engagement photo shoot took place at the location of the proposal, with the bride wearing special mouse ears.
