According to a report, the Miami Heat could set their sights on the Serbian.

The idea of the Heat sending Robinson and Yurtseven to the Bulls was floated by one league executive. The executive made a statement.

If the Heat really wanted Vuc, that could be the basis of a deal, Vuc for Robinson. It would take a big man to work with the Heat. If the Bulls wanted to add a guy, they would probably want to take back Tony Bradley.

This looks like a bad idea on the part of the executives.

Robinson's five-year, $90 million contract is one of the worst deals signed in the summer of 2021. He was dropped from the rotation in the playoffs after he struggled with his shooting. It's hard to imagine Robinson's trade value being less than the Heat owe him.

Yurtseven flashed some plus rebound in limited minutes last season, but he's a young man. He tops out as a role player, even though he had a minus-1.0 box plus/ minus last season.

The Bulls gave up a lot to get him in the first place, so the sum of those two players doesn't really make a difference. The Chicago Bulls sent a promising young big in Wendell Carter Jr., a pick that became the No. 8 selection in the 2021.

While he's not quite lived up to the All-Star expectations, Vucevic is still an excellent, versatile offensive center. Unless the Bulls get a better fit for him, it makes no sense to trade him.

The roster is full of guys who can play the 2 and 3. Yurtseven would be a big deal.

If this deal went down, it would be like front-office malpractice.
