According to a statement from Warner Bros. Television, Jordan is leaving the show due to personal reasons.

Jonathan Kent was a character in the first two seasons of the CW superhero series. The character will be replaced for the third season of the show.

Jordan will not be returning to "Superman & Lois" for the third season due to personal reasons. Jonathan Kent's role will be changed.

The actor has yet to comment publicly about why he is leaving the show, however, many fans have pointed to a now- deleted post from June in which he revealed that he was struggling with his mental health.

It's a big one. I won't be on social media for quite some time, I'm not sure how long yet, but at least a good couple weeks.

Mental health and well-being have been a problem for me recently. I don't know if you can call it a poem, I've never written one before so I don't really know what qualifies as one, but this was my best attempt.

I'm going to a facility for a month to get the mental health back on track, and get the tools I need so I can help myself, because right now I can't.

He said that he wouldn't be able to spend much time with his family and friends before filming the third season of "Superman and Lois"

The actor said that for a long time he felt like his problems weren't real and that everyone else's were bigger than his. I had to deal with it internally. Things have gotten worse over the last couple of years. It is a huge sacrifice for me to get help.

Fans are encouraged to ask for help if they are experiencing the same mental health issues.
