Don't forget to mark your calendar. The launch event is expected to take place in September.

According to Mark Gurman, people with knowledge of the matter say that the first of the company's two September events will likely be the launch of the new Apple Watch Series 8.

The front-facing camera notch will be replaced with a "pill-shaped hole" and a "hole-punch-sized area" for the camera, according to Insiders. The 5.8-inch "mini" model will no longer be offered by the iPhone 14 line. The A15 chip which powers the current iPhone 13 line will remain in the standard models.

With 90 million units ordered from suppliers, demand is expected to sustain despite waning smartphone sales due to inflation and a bad economy. Over half of Apple's sales are accounted for by the iPhone.

According to Gurman, retail store employees have been told to prepare for a Sept. 16 product release. The typical time frame for opening sales is a week and a half after the launch. Two days before the event is rumored to occur, corporate employees will have to work three days a week.

This one is likely to be streamed online from the headquarters of Apple. We might lose the notch. Is Apple Daddy going to come back? At this point, it's all speculation, but that's how Apple likes it.
