The design of the Cyber One robot is similar to the one made by the electric-car maker.

During a live event in Beijing, the Chinese tech company unveiled its first look at Cyber One. The robot was able to communicate with the CEO of the company.

In September, the company is expected to reveal more about its own bot. By the September 30 event, Musk said he may have a prototype for the electric car company.

Xiaomi's new bot could give us an idea of what we can expect from aTesla bot.

The similarities between CyberOne andTesla's designs were not commented on by a spokesman forXiaomi.

Musk shared several pictures of the robot concept design at the event, even though the man in the spandex suit was not in attendance.

CyberOne is five feet eight inches tall. The white and black minimalist design of the bot is the same as it was when it was first created. CyberOne seems to be a bit bulkier.

According to the press release, the bot can detect human emotion and even become a human companion.

CyberOne can travel at a top speed of 2.2 miles per hour, just shy of the planned speed of 5 miles per hour by the electric car company. Cyber One has mitten-like hands that can open and close, but they don't seem to do much else.

The design of other tech companies has been copied by the Chinese tech company. Over the past decade, the company has released a number of internal updates that are very similar to Apple's software. Johnny Ive was the former Apple chief design officer. Lin Bin denied the allegation at the time. Last year, the Chinese company became the world's second-biggest seller of phones.

Cyber One does not appear to have any plans to become a human butler. According to the company's press release, CyberOne will act more as a marketing tool than a major product.

You can take a peek at the bot for yourself.
