LeBron James

There has been a change in the man.

Lakers fans should be afraid.

This would have been the time in James' career when he would have left a city and moved to a new place.

It would be impossible to grow anything more and bounce after he won a title.

In Miami and Cleveland, he did that.

It wasn't how he dealt with L.A.

The Lakers were not picked by the King. He extended his contract by two years on Wednesday.

Despite being about to enter his 20th NBA season, James decided to stay put.

He doesn't think he can win another title. He decided to stay in L.A. because he loved it so much.

G/O Media may get a commission

According to the Bleacher Report, James signed his extension despite his private insistence that the Lakers improve their roster and trade for Irving.

The cart was put before the horse.

It is late in the game to sign and hope for the best.

James will likely not be able to come up with ideas for the Lakers in the near future.

The squad that went nearly three months without winning back-to-back games will remain the same as James gets older. It seems impossible in the NBA. It did happen.

The Big 3 will be completed by Anthony Davis and Russell Westbrook. It looks good. It's nothing more than a joke.

Davis can't be healthy. He came to the camp out of shape.

Despite his triple-doubles, most NBA experts, analysts, and writers didn't think he would work in L.A.

He won't be any better with all the talk that the Lakers were trying to get rid of him. It would have been five different teams in a row if he had been traded.

Can you say something that's not nice?

Yet, he continued to serve for this sham.

Let's say all three play most of the season and have their usual numbers. They are not sure if they will come out of the West. The conference is difficult. The Warriors came off a title. There are a lot of young teams. The city of Denver will be completely healthy.

The team playing in their own building will be back in the race for the title with the return of a healthy Kawhi Leonard.

The silver lining is that he won the Bubble Championship. Even if no hardware is produced in the last few years, his time in L.A. will be worth it.

Let's face it. The years in L.A. have not been good. James hasn't made the playoffs in his four years with the Lakers. He was knocked out in the first round again.

James has been injured in three of the four years he's been in the area.

Late in a player's career, injuries happen.

Even though he is a younger player, his career has been marred by injuries. The nickname was given to him by Charles Barkley.

It's funny if you're a basketball player and your career is short.

You would expect a statue of him to be in front of the arena when he stops playing. He brought that city a title after a long time.

You feel like it will be a different statue. James is likely to be holding a basketball. There is a suitcase.

James has a career in a way.

At this point. He might have retired from trying to win. This move felt like that.
