The total player compensation for the Grand Slam tournament has surpassed $60 million for the first time.
The U.S. Tennis Association received feedback from the men's and women's tour player council. The players who make the main draw will get $80,000 and the players who reach the second round will get $121,000.
The singleschampions earned $3.9 million in the last year before the coronaviruses. The loser of the first round got $58,000 and the loser of the second round got $100,000.
For reaching the quarterfinals and being a semifinalist, players will make over half a million dollars. The runner-up gets a lot of money.
The teams that win the doubles title will get $688,000.
The other three Grand Slam tournaments have paid more than last year's total. The final-round prize money of $44,000 has been added to the total prize money.
The main draw is held at the national tennis center.
