According to The Wall Street Journal, the company won't be developing any future versions of the product, even though it just introduced a new product. The decision to no longer develop the Pixy line was made by the CEO at the Q&A. The current model of the Pixy is still for sale on the website according to a source.

The Pixy is designed to be more accessible than other drones. The $230 device launches right from the palm of your hand so it can film footage that syncs back to the snapchat app so you can share it with your friends

The company might consider a second iteration according to the interviewer. He said the goal is to have people play with it. If people like the original product, we might make more with version two. The shipment times stretched out to months after the drone was released, as the launch appeared to have been a success. The drones are available to ship today, according to the website.
