The new version of the service will support 120 frames per second in a browser. The new browser options will be available to members of the 3080 tier of the service.
The GeForce Now membership tier offered streams of up to 120 frames per second on PCs and Macs and 60 frames per second on Shield TV. The web version of the dedicated Mac or Windows apps was limited to 60 frames per second and had no support for 120 frames per second.
The RTX 3080 tier is still one of the best game streaming services because of a lot of improvements. It's possible to access the service through the Edge browser on older devices, and it's even possible to access it through the Chrome and Edge browsers.
The top tier of the Turing architecture is available for $19.99 per month, or a cheaper six-month membership for $99.99. This week, six additions to GeForce Now will be added. There are more than 1,300 titles available on the GeForce Now website.
