One episode of She-Hulk: Attorney At Law is already a breath of fresh air, as it is chaotic, funny, and asks all the questions fans actually want to know. One important one.
If you don't want to watch it, allow me to summarize it for you. There will be more than one thing to know.
After an accident resulted in her being exposed to Bruce Banner's irradiated blood, which turned her into a winged creature, she is spending some quality time with her cousin. Bruce hid out at the Mexican beach house slash secret lab where he spent the Blip integrating hisBruce andHustler personality to become SmartHustler and gave Jen a crash course in life with them, helping her explore the limits of their increased ability to metabolise alcohol
The episode ends with Jen going back to her job as a lawyer, her hopes of keeping her new alter ego a secret quickly dashed. The mid-credits scene takes us back to margarita night at Bruce's bar, where Jen is so drunk she can't remember her name. Is he still grieving over Tony Stark's death? Is it finally hitting her that she has been through so much in her life?
Nope, that's right. She is fixated on the fact that Steve Rogers didn't get married.
She's interested in this topic. She told Bruce that Cap was always too busy saving the world to do anything. Jen can't believe how Captain America was able to find the time, from being the face of the American armed forces to his ice nap, his return to society and saving the world a bunch of times before vanishing into the past. She brought it up again in the tag scene after a few drinks.
It's so sad. She wailed, "Steve Rogers did so much for his country but he never got to experience sex!" Did you notice that? They did not deserve to die a virgin.
Bruce insists that Steve Rogers is not a virgin. He lost his virginity on the USO tour.
Jen is now looking very well dressed and happy.
She spread her arms wide. The scene cuts to black because no one is allowed to swear in the movie.
"Captain America FU—"
Steve Rogers had sex before he got into the ice. Banner's response came directly from Feige.
We have more questions. He may have gotten to do it more than once. He had a slightly better experience than most first time visitors. The woman was not known. Is it Natalie Dormer, also known as Private Louise? Is fondue involved? Will we ever get to hear Tony tell Steve what he knew after the battle?
Bruce chose a tense that said "Steve Rogers is not a virgin" Is that not was?
There's nothing to suggest that Steve has died in that universe, even though he lived out his life with his beloved Peggy in an adjacent timeline before returning the shield to Sam. It seems like Steve is dead because of the post-Endgame MCU. The Statue of Liberty holding his shield in No Way Home and the whole-ass Broadway musical in Hawkeye suggest the kind of admiration we usually reserve for dead celebrities.
It's a long bow to use a single word. If Bruce Banner knows what Steve's sex life was like, who is going to tell him what else he's hiding?
