Mehmet Oz, the GOP candidate for a Senate seat in Pennsylvania, is feuding on social media with his Democratic opponent.

Fetterman and Oz exchanged barbs about each other's wealth.

Fetterman said he had never spoken to a Pennsylvania resident who didn't know how many houses they had. Oz is reported to own 10 properties.

Fetterman said he couldn't tell if he was trying or failing to sound like a regular person.

Oz claimed that Fetterman lived off his parents until he was 50.

Fetterman had a stroke in May. He has criticized Oz for being out of touch with the average person. Fetterman was angry when Oz messed up the name of the store.

The Democrat who was dubbed the "Mayor of Rust" by The New York Times Magazine tried to present himself as a more down-to-earth figure in contrast to his opponent. Oz and Fetterman have vastly different personal finances, with Oz owning millions of dollars in stocks and real estate and Fetterman only holding a single stock holding worth up to $15,000.

Fetterman's campaign has trolled Oz on the internet. Fetterman pushed for Oz to be in the New Jersey hall of fame after he was questioned about his residency in Pennsylvania.

He and his wife live in Pennsylvania.

Oz's campaign office and Fetterman's aide did not respond to Insider's questions.
