  • There would be ariot in the aftermath of the election, according to Steve Bannon.

  • The transcript of the leaked audio was published by Mother Jones.

  • It wasn't something that happened.

According to leaked audio obtained by Mother Jones, Steve Bannon predicted that the election would lead to political violence. The eventual culprits who would lead the most notorious post- US election riot were not identified by the former Trump aide.

Mother Jones obtained an audio clip from a meeting between Bannon and his associates. The nearly-hour long recording captured Bannon accurately anticipating Trump's election-night strategy in which he hastily declared himself the winner.

Trump is going to just proclaim victory. Yes, right? He's going to make a statement. "That doesn't mean he's a winner, that's for sure," he said. He is going to say he is a winner.

Mother Jones published a full transcript of the recording, which shows that during the meeting, Bannon made another partially accurate prediction.

"Remember, this is going to be a very crazy night," he said. It's going to be a riot down by your hotel. That's where the antiFA guys are going.

There is a hotel near the White House.

"They think there's going to be a lot of anti-fascists around the White House, particularly if Trump leaves," he said.

A leaderless, non-hierarchical organization that has existed for decades, antifascist is also known as antifascist. During his time in office, Trump often promoted baseless conspiracy theories about left-wing extremists.

It wouldn't be left-wing radicals who brought political violence to DC, but Trump supporters who were trying to stop the certification.

Steve Bannon was found guilty of criminal contempt of Congress for refusing to cooperate with the House committee investigating the January 6 insurrection. On October 21, he will be sentenced.
