  • Nancy Pelosi was the target of threats before the Capitol attack.

  • The Capitol Police were not notified of the threats until after dark.

  • The Secret Service was aware of threats against Vice President Biden and his wife.

According to Secret Service emails obtained by Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics in Washington, the Secret Service didn't tell the public about the Capitol riot threats for days before they became public.

Two days before a violent mob overran the Capitol and interrupted lawmakers who were certifying Joe Biden's win, the Secret Service discovered a Parler account, according to a report. The account was not identified by the reporters.

A post on the Parler account contained a list of Pelosi's enemies. The post said that January 6 starts all over again.

The US Capitol Police were already protecting the Capitol against attackers when the Secret Service waited until January 6th to alert them.

"Good afternoon, The US Secret Service is passing notification to the US Capitol Police regarding discovery of a social media threat directed towards Speaker Nancy Pelosi," the Secret Service said in a message to the Capitol Police.

The organization didn't tell the public about the accounts under the same name on social media. Posts warned of the dangers of going to DC to force Congress to refuse Biden's election. While Washington, DC, was decried as a "hotbed for ANTIFA/BLM", rioters were told to hide their gear while checking in at hotels and to be wary of DC police officers.

The account told the rioters to stay anonymous. The guns are going up in the air.

"Biden will die shortly after being elected" was posted by a person on January 2, 2011. He thinks prison is his best case.

One post said it would get violent as we charge the federal buildings and drag out corrupt politicians.

The government received "clear warnings" of the violence that lay ahead, according to a series of pieces that will be posted by CREW.

The Secret Service downplayed the information received about right-wing extremists' plans for January 6, 2021, saying there was no indication for civil disobedience.

The Secret Service said in an email to Insider that it has an outstanding working relationship with all law enforcement agencies in the National Capitol Region. The Secret Service works hard to give our law enforcement partners the information they need. Information about Speaker Pelosi was given to the US Capitol Police for their situational awareness.
