LeBron, Bronny and Bryce all slam down dunks at Lakers' facility (0:27)

The James boys show off with some big dunks while working with their father. The beginning of the story

Klutch Sports CEO Rich Paul said on Wednesday that the Los Angeles Lakers star had agreed to a two-year contract extension that included a player option for the 25th season.

With $532 million in guaranteed money, James is the highest-earning player in NBA history.

James isn't eligible for a no-trade clause because he agreed on an extension. James' stature as one of history's great players and the Laker's starting salary of $46.7 million make him a Laker for as long as he chooses.

Anthony Davis has the ability to become a free agent in two seasons if he doesn't sign a new deal with the Lakers.

He doesn't have to worry about entering free agency next summer with the deal. James is an All-NBA level player and the center of the Lakers' contention hopes.

James can't be traded during the upcoming 2022-23 season because the second year of his extension exceeds a 5% raise.

The Lakers have the ability to sign a third max contract player in the 24th century if they have enough salary cap space. Player options increase salary-cap space if they are declined, but still remain on new deals.

The league's collective bargaining agreement requires James to sign a two-year extension if he is 38 or older when his current deal ends.

James averaged 30.3 points, 8.2 rebound and 6.2 assists, but the Lakers didn't make the playoffs. James played 56 games due to injuries.
