Giuliani made a false claim that election workers brought cases full of ballots to the polls.

According to prosecutors, LaMotta and Joshua Macias went to Philadelphia in November of 2020 to count votes for the presidential election. A group of men arrived in a Hummer adorned with a QAnon sticker and loaded with a rifle and other weapons.

There is a baseless belief that former President Donald Trump had waged a secret campaign against enemies in the deep state.

As the election hung in the balance, prosecutors say Macias and LaMotta planned a mass shooting but were stopped by the FBI. The men will be tried in October. There are charges related to an election.

Lawyers for both men argued that there was no evidence that they interfered or tried to interfere with the election. The men were being punished for supporting false theories that the presidential election was fraudulent, according to the lawyers.

According to the criminal complaint against LaMotta, he was identified by the images on Capitol cameras and police body cameras. An FBI agent interviewed LaMotta after he was arrested in Philadelphia.

The complaint stated that LaMotta entered the Capitol through the east Rotunda doors. A group of rioters pushed past police officers who were trying to prevent them from entering. The rioters were pushed out of the building by the police.

More than 350 defendants have pleaded guilty for their roles in the Capitol riots. People who have been convicted of a crime have been sentenced to various lengths of time in prison.

The documents related to the Capitol riot case did not include an attorney. Lauren Wimmer, his attorney in Philadelphia, did not reply to an email asking for comment.

That's right.
