Wednesday is a new series directed by Tim Burton that follows the eldest Addams Family child as she tries to find her way in her new school. Rounding out the cast are Catherine Zeta-Jones and Luis Guzmn. As Wednesday tortures her brother's bullies by releasing piranhas into a swimming pool, it's obvious that she's not long for the bright-lit, vibrant, sunny Nancy Reagan High School. The trailer introduces Wednesday to Nevermore Academy, where we can see some of the destruction that she will be a part of.
We don't get much of the plot, but the series is a sleuthing, supernaturally infused mystery about Wednesday Addams' years as a student at school.
Tim Burton will direct. Christina Ricci will be playing a different character in the series. The actress is part of the cast. This fall, Wednesday will hit the streaming service.
